To love under the light of moonless sky
The stars of your eyes and beyond
Turn your head my dear
And drink deep of the moment—
As we explore a place unknown by most
Drifting along the dream world coast
I am just a circle looking for a home
In search of a place to call my own
Plenty of space for chisel-cut sameness
(Or those who prefer geometric lameness)
Stocky stable slotted stations, point a certain way
I turn my single face, and roll away.
All I own is a small brown bag,
Filled with dirt—
And stories that gag
Let’s take those things that hurt,
Dump them on stony brethren
Where they’ll mix—
And form gold.
Tell me why—
You feel you can see through a mirrored eye,
Which seems to replace others (with your mental view)
Violently askew,
As who are you—
To tell me how to think.
Torch in hand, here we come
Charging a line, straight and plumb
Is it our only solution?
To destroy our current institution
Have we drafted a new constitution?
We’ve come full turn in this revolution—
Each sprocket sporting a new delusion
Has it always been the, need, the case
For us to be perfectly laced, from shoe to face?
Would it be so insane
For one to walk without such a cane?
Having the crutch of being the same
Isn’t such a burden to those who’d ingrain—
A spotlight for imperfection in attempt to make us tame

The Long Journey - Qui est immortalis
Morning rays fell upon the sleeping figure on the ground. It was not a large figure, and seemed smaller because of how tightly it was wrapped in a long brown overcoat. A cool breeze drifted past, but the figure betrayed no signs of waking, besides a slight shift. After some time had passed, with the sun climbing slightly higher into the sky, the long brown coat slipped and revealed its’ wearer. He began to awake at last as his makeshift blanket exposed him to the cool fall wind. He seemed to be young, yet he had a mature look in his eyes. He ran rough hands through several inches of dark brown hair, then stood up and stretched his arms
Lunar luminescence shining throughout the sky,
Bolstered by a trillion little lights where we hope to fly,
Beautifully depicted in a multitude of frames,
Silently supporting in many nighttime games,
Sometimes cast in a lightless shroud,
Only to meekly push through the oppressive cloud,
Many have studied, but few understand,
Creatures of the night howl as they make their final stand,
Against that of the day and engage in eternal fight,
Darkness beat back, but only to return, the next cloudless night.

So I have finally complete my senior project, "The Morning Star," I will upload photos soon. I'm pretty happy with the results, though I messed up. The original idea was to have a bronze center piece, but I miscalculated, yield only 1 3/8 oz. of bronze. (I started with 7 1/2...). But yeah, will hopefully have my etsy store up an running, will post a link ASAP.
So I finally got around to writing my first entry... I guess it had to happen eventually. So up to this point, I'm fairly sure that I've posted most of my worthwhile work, and I promise; more is on the way!
I've mainly been focusing on writing poetry (I find that it's a good outlet for whatever fun/exciting/awful/terribly great things I'm going through in life), so you can expect a lot more to come. Also in the world of writing, I've finally started brainstorming for a short story or novella of sorts; we'll see if I can keep with it! And before I forget, I'd like to thank my darling clementine for the awesome banner she made for me!
I do ha
